“InStyle” — If there’s one woman who knows what makes a good shoe, it’s indisputably Sarah Jessica Parker. After spending years walking in Carrie Bradshaw’s GORGEOUS Manolo Blahniks, some of that great taste has rubbed off on her — and can definitely be seen mirrored in her amazing shoe range, SJP Collection.
Launched at the beginning of last year, the 50-year-old’s first-ever range of heels amassed such a cult following that demand exceeded the styles made, making it a complete sell out.
After catching her breath and re-stocking, she then managed to find time to collaborate with achingly cool brand TOGA on its AW15 collection which was shown at New york Fashion Week to rave reviews. So yep, she’s enjoyed a pretty stellar first-year all things considered…
However, after giving us a first look at her latest designs, we reckon her spring 2015 range is going to be even hotter (if that was even possible!)
Moving award from the colour-pop courts that kick-started the collection, SJP has really flexed her design muscles to come up with these show-stoppers. Take a peek…

There’s no doubt that these glittering heels — complete with sexy cross-over straps, lashings of buckles and a statement, jewel-encrusted t-bar — are so wow-worthy that even the super-stylish Carrie Bradshaw would have to take a second glance.
While we love how SJP’s paired them with a checked silk midi dress, we reckon they’d look even more badass paired with ripped boyfriend jeans, a marl grey tee and an edgy leather biker. Feel free to send a pair our way and we’ll gladly style them up for you, Sarah…
We don’t know about you but if the first the SJP Collection’s SS15 heels look *this* good, we can’t wait to see what the rest of the range will look like. As soon as they drop, we’ll be sure to let you know.
“People” — Sure, Andy Cohen has a very impressive résumé, but his biggest achievement might be the fact that he’s been honored with his very own shoe in Sarah Jessica Parker‘s eponymous footwear line, SJP. (That’s gotta be right up there with winning an Oscar, right?)
The TV host shared a photo from the Watch What Happens Live set, relaxing in his chair in one of his classic tailored suits, plus the sleek nude sandals from Parker’s latest collection, aptly named “The Andy.”

Parker has named other shoes after people who are close to her, which is why she couldn’t resist calling one of the styles “The Carrie,” to immortalize her iconic, shoe-obsessed Sex and the City character, Carrie Bradshaw. (She even did a photo shoot with the shoes on Carrie’s front steps!)
“I’ve introduced them as if they are living, human people rather than just a shoe, an inanimate sort of object,” Parker said of her passion for the different styles, while moonlighting as Oprah’s shoe stylist. (Her talents are truly limitless.)
“Entertainment Weekly” — Sarah Jessica Parker has found her new best friends. We’ve learned the Sex and the City star’s HBO comedy pilot Divorce has firmed up the rest of its cast.
In the show, which is billed as “the story of a very, very long divorce,” Parker plays Frances, a woman who suddenly begins to reassess her life and her marriage, and finds that making a clean break and a fresh start is harder than she thought. We can now reveal that Saturday Night Live’s Molly Shannon and Mad Men’s Talia Balsam have been cast her her two close friends. Thomas Haden Church (Sideways) has been signed as Frances’ husband.
Shannon will play Diane, Frances’ “high-strung friend who has a successful husband, a beautiful house, and no children.” Balsam is Dallas, Frances’ friend “who has been both widowed and divorced.”
If greenlit to series, Divorce will mark Parker’s return to HBO, where she starred as Carrie Bradshaw in the groundbreaking Sex and the City for six seasons and in two feature films.
“The Hollywood Reporter” — Nearly 11 years after Sex and the City ended its run, star Sarah Jessica Parker is reteaming with HBO for a new comedy.
HBO is near a pilot deal for Divorce, a comedy that would likely star and be produced by Parker, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Divorce centers on a middle-aged woman (Parker), who, influenced by her two recently single friends, impulsively brings up the idea of divorce with her husband but then can’t decide whether to actually go through with it — until her husband discovers the affair she’s been having and calls the marriage off.
Parker will star and executive produce via her Pretty Matches Productions banner. SharonHorgan, whose recent U.S. pilots include Fox’s Dead Boss as well as ABC’s Bad Management and Pulling, is on board to pen the script. Aaron Kaplan, Paul Simms (Girls, Bored to Death, Flight of the Conchords) and Pretty Matches president Alison Benson will also executive produce. Should the project move forward, Horgan will serve as showrunner, with Simms as co-showrunner.
The deal marks the latest collaboration for Kapital Entertainment’s Kaplan and Horgan, who have a joint-venture with the U.K.-based showrunner.
Divorce marks Parker’s latest TV comeback. The actress had a recurring role as a magazinefashionista on Glee’s fourth season and, more recently, eyed a TV return in Busted, a limited series from optioned by Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and packaged with Anonymous Content (True Detective).
Parker is repped by CAA and Schreck Rose. Simms is with CAA. Horgan is with WME. Peretz is with UTA.
Sex and the City was an instrumental series that helped put HBO on the original programming map.
For HBO, Divorce comes as the cabler is restocking its pilot slate following series pickups to comedies Togetherness, The Brink and Ballers. HBO this week also picked up a new comedy pilot starring Sarah Silverman to go with its redeveloped newspaper laugher.
“TIME” — Sarah Jessica Parker is perhaps taking a cue from her Sex and the City alter ego and heading to the United Arab Emirates with her shoe line.
But while Carrie Bradshaw visited Abu Dhabi in the franchise’s second film (which was panned by critics), Parker is preparing to launch her SJP Collection in Dubai, marking the line’s debut in the international market. The collection will be available from Dec. 3 and Parker will be making appearances at Harvey Nichols on Dec. 7 and Bloomingdale’s on Dec. 9 to promote the line.
Parker created the shoe collection with the CEO of Manolo Blahnik, George Malkemus. The shoes, which are already available to buy in the US, are identifiable by the signature strip of grosgrain ribbon on the back of every heel.
“The Hollywood Reporter” — International buyers are taking All Roads Lead to Rome, an upcoming romantic comedy starring Sarah Jessica Parker.
AMBI Distribution, which is producing the film and selling it worldwide, has closed deals across much of the world, including with StudioCanal for Australia/New Zealand, ZDF for Germany, Corbi Media for Spain, California Filmes for Latin America and SPI for Eastern Europe.
All Roads Lead to Rome centers on uptight Maggie (Parker) and her former Italian lover, Luca (Raoul Bova), who go on an exciting road trip across Italy pursuing Maggie’s rebellious teenage daughter (Rosie Day). Claudia Cardinale co-stars as Luca’s mother.

Ella Lemhagen (The Crown Jewels) is directing All Roads Lead to Rome and co-wrote the screenplay with Cindy Myers and Josh Appignanesi.
The film is currently shooting in Italy.
AMBI Pictures principals Andrea Iervolino and Monika Bacardi and Paradox Studio’s Mikael Wiren are financing the picture. Iervolino and Bacardi are producing with Silvio Muraglia of Paradox Studios. Wiren is executive producing with Frank Konigsberg and David Wyler.
