Salem ghosts in Sarah Jessica Parker’s family tree?

Turns out Sarah might not be the only one to have been a witchy woman:

In “Sex and the City,” Sarah Jessica Parker bewitched the Big Apple – and as it turns out, the “Sex” siren may be descended from witches!

The New England Historic Genealogical Society researched SJP’s family tree for a new NBC show “Who Do You Think You Are?” and discovered her family line “is connected to the Salem Witch Trials of 1692,” a Society spokesman said.

Researcher Josh Taylor worked with Parker in Boston last year to trace her roots for the show that takes a peek into the family history of a number of famous faces. The genealogically inclined boldfacers include Parker’s hubby Matthew Broderick, Hollywood stars Susan Sarandon and Brooke Shields, director Spike Lee, NFL legend Emmitt Smith and former “Friends” star – and show producer – Lisa Kudrow.

“We were asked to participate in the project in terms of helping to find the family background of a number of celebrities,” said NEHGS spokesguy Rick Stockwood. “And Sarah Jessica Parker actually came to Boston to meet with Josh and he gave her some information on her connection to Massachusetts.”

Society researcher Gary Boyd Roberts traveled to NYC to film a bit on family lines of European royalty. Word is, it may have something to do with Brooke Shields. A royal descendant perhaps?

Check it out when “Who Do You Think You Are?” premieres at 8 p.m. March 5.
