To celebrate the ringing in of a new year, I have made a new layout for the gallery and there is a new theme up! There is talk of the four SATC ladies will each be doing separate covers of Marie Claire like last time. Can’t wait to see them! Check it out:
The women of “Sex and the City” are doing separate Marie Claire covers once again, so we couldn’t help but wonder: Is there drama among the fabulous foursome?
A source tells us no, it’s purely a creative decision – and not because Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis wouldn’t pose together.
“[Marie Claire] did this for the ‘Sex and the City’ movie and had great success,” says the insider. “It was a really great creative scheme, so it makes sense to do it again.”
So what about all the rumors of catfights and larger-than-life egos? Not true, says our source – in fact, “the four of them have been getting along the best they have been in years.”
Most recently, Nixon and Cattrall attended the NYC premire of Parker’s “Did You Hear About the Morgans?” Plus, filming on location in Morocco for “SATC 2” strengthened their ties. Says the insider: “They had a blast there, so there would be no problem shooting the cover with the four of them together.”

Well, the moment everyone (including myself) have been waiting for is finally here! As a Christmas treat to all Sex and the City fans, the teaser trailer of Sex and the City 2 has been released. I will add a higher quality one later and screencaptures!
Sarah recently sat down with the Associated Press and answered a couple of their questions. Check it out:
AP: So what attracted you to the “Morgans” role?
Sarah Jessica Parker: Hugh Grant. The idea of a romantic comedy with Hugh Grant.
AP: Would you class yourself as a New Yorker?
SJP: I would, I’ve lived there for 32 years now; it’s the only place I’ve lived as a grown up and it’s everything I know. My home’s there, my children, my extended family, my parents. I love a city, and I specifically love New York City, and I have from the very first moment I stepped foot on the island.
AP: How would you define a New Yorker?
SJP: Independent, candid, devoted, impatient, hospitable, proud.
AP: There’s a scene in the film where Grant’s character gives your character a CD of New York noises so that she can sleep. Do you share some of those feelings?
SJP: I really actually do, I have a problem with too much quiet โ from the time I was a little girl, I think partially because I’m one of eight kids. It was always just chaos in my house. I always remember noise and for me, it’s honestly like a lullaby โ the sound of sirens and taxis honking and people honestly screaming at each other, which we hear all the time. I love that.
